Always sad to hear of a classmate's passing.  Gives all of us pause to be thankful for our lives, memories and continued health till our time on earth is over.  R.I.P. Deen, you are singing with the angels now.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Deen Whitworth.  I remember her being a unique person who was a lot of fun to be around.  She will be missed by many.  Hearing of a classmate's death makes one think of their own mortality and how grateful one feels to still be on this earth. My sincerest condolences to her family.  Addie K. Wearden

Such sad news about Deen...... It seems like yesterday we all shared the halls of Irvin with her, sat in class with her, and grew on to lead various "grownup" lives.  Years later, Deen and I taught 5th grade next door to each other out in east El Paso.  I was glad to reconnect at a recent school reunion.
