Bennie Dewayne Bramblett passed away on November 12, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Red Bluff, California. He was 64 years old. Bennie served in the army for two years as a sergeant and a firefighter. He was an electrician at NMSU for thirteen years before moving to California in 1992. He is survived by his children, Tony Bramblett, Scott Bramblett, Katie Powell and seven grandchildren. Bennie is also survived by his father, Ben Bramblett, sister, Luana Shufeldt and nephews, James and Michael Shufeldt. He was preceded in death by his mother, Almeda Bramblett. Bennie was buried at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso on June 07, 2010.
